In Hawaiian, Kai is a unisex name which means "sea". The middle section of Kai draws you into the sea and the rails defined by two tone richness of wood, the cane and the kona encapsulates the magic of the sea and landscape between the West Coasts. To perpetuate the life and work of Ben Aipa, we make homage to the beginning when surfboards were wood. Aloha.
