Makaha Legacy is #1 from the Aipa Legacy Series and 64 is when it all started. Ben Aipa the surfboard innovator and surfing legend. Steve Adam artistry and shaped by the AIPA legacy. The two blue stripes are used on this board because Ben Aipa wanted the judges to notice him. Steve also incorporated four brown stripes, mimicking sugarcane and Hawaiian state flag signifying where Ben got his start working in the sugarcane fields. Mahalo means gratitude. Finished with a flawless high polish finish, signed by both artisans'' Steve Adam and Duke Aipa, Ben's son.
